Dinçer Özoran’s goal, as a member of CELT, is to support MEF with the latest instructional technologies as tools to enhance the Flipped Learning pedagogy. He considers himself lucky to be working at MEF, as it is the best living lab for Flipped Learning experience and research.
Currently, he is a PhD candidate in Computer Education and Instructional Technology at Middle East Technical University. Dinçer is writing his thesis on Flipped Learning. He is specifically interested in the role of student self-regulation within Flipped Learning Approach.
Dinçer wrote his MSc thesis on Cognitive Development of Preschool Children. During his research he observed how each preschool child was creative and unique in his/her potential and expressions which emerged contrary to university students who struggled with creativity, self-expression and self-awareness. This convinced Dinçer that the purpose of education should be to flourish the unique potential of each individual. This encouraged Dinçer to continue his studies in Education.
Dinçer previously worked as a Research Assistant in Computer Engineering Department at Atılım University for nine years. He holds a BS degree in Computer Engineering from Galatasaray University and MS degree in Cognitive Science from Middle East Technical University

Educational Technology Coordinator
Doğu Özdemir supports CELT’s instructor training program and helps faculty transform learning through the use of educational technology. He is passionate about instructional design and technology and designing student-centered courses, lessons, and activities.
Doğu holds a BS degree in English Language Education from Hacettepe University and MSc in management from Solvay Business School - Vrije Universiteit Brussel. He is currently a Ph.D. student in Educational Technology at Bahçeşehir University.
Doğu has teaching experience with both children and adults. He has worked as a General English teacher in several institutions. At MEF University, he has taught English for Academic Purposes, Advanced Reading and Writing, and Instructional Technology courses.
