Who Qualifies?
On the condition that they are graduates of a high school equivalent to Turkish high schools or in the last year of such a high school,Applicants who are:
- Foreign nationals,
- Turkish and TRNC citizens who have completed their entire high school education abroad,
- Natural born citizens of the Republic of Turkey who have abandoned their citizenship upon the approval of the Ministry of Interior Affairs, and those who hold the Official Document for The Use of Rights Granted by The Law No: 5203 (mavi kart)
- Dual nationals (Turkish or TRNC) who acquired, not inherited their Turkish/TRNC citizenship (were natural born citizens of a foreign country but later acquired the citizenship of the Republic of Turkey or TRNC)
- Citizens of TRNC who have completed their entire high school in TRNC and have GCE AL results,
QUALIFY to apply in the international student category.
Applicants who are
- Turkish citizens or TRNC citizens (except the students who have completed their entire high school in TRNC and have GCE A/L result),
- Dual nationals one of which is Turkish from birth (except those who have completed their entire high school education abroad),
- Dual nationals one of which is TRNC (except the students who have completed their entire high school in TRNC and have GCE A/L result),
- Dual nationals and Turkish citizens who have graduated from a mission or consulate school, or foreign schools in Turkey,
- Those expelled from a higher education institution in Turkey due to disciplinary action,
do NOT qualify to apply in the international student category.
