CEREN MERMUTLUOĞLU AYYILDIZ

Ceren Mermutluoğlu graduated from Galatasaray High School in 2008 and from Galatasaray University Faculty of Law in 2013. After completing her legal internship, she earned an LL.M. degree from the University of Edinburgh as a Jean Monnet Scholar (2014–2015) with her dissertation “Effectiveness of European Human Rights Standards in Policing: The Case of Turkey”. In 2017, she received her master’s degree in Public Law from Galatasaray University with a thesis on “Women and Provocation in Criminal Law.” In 2026, she obtained her Ph.D. in Public Law from Galatasaray University upon defending her dissertation, “The Crime of Sexual Harassment and Its Commission in Cyberspace.” She has been working as a research assistant in the Department of Criminal and Criminal Procedure Law at MEF University Faculty of Law since September 2016.
