FUNDA ÖZDEMİR

Funda Özdemir received her BSc degree in Mathematics from Boğaziçi University, İstanbul, in 2010, and her MSc and PhD degrees in Mathematics from Sabancı University, İstanbul, in 2012 and 2016. During her PhD, she stayed in Paris for five months for a research visit at Telecom Paris-Tech. She worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Sabancı University between 2016-2018. From 2018-2024, Dr. Özdemir worked as a full-time faculty member in the Department of Software Engineering at İstinye University, where she also served as vice dean, department head and head of the Cyber Security Programme. Since September 2024, she is a full-time faculty member in the Department of Computer Engineering at MEF University.
