MERCAN ASLI ERKURT

Mercan Aslı Erkurt has been working at MEF SoFL as an instructor since 2025. She received her BA degree in English Language Teaching from MEF University. She holds a CELTA from Cambridge English Language Assessment and an IB PYP Certificate from MEF University. She is currently pursuing her MA degree in English Language Teaching at Yeditepe University. Prior to MEF University, she worked at Taş Private Primary and Secondary School as an IB PYP English Language Teacher.

 While completing her undergraduate education, she worked as a teacher assistant at MEF Schools Bahçeşehir Middle School and Kabataş Boys High School, served as the Social Media Assistant of MEF University’s Faculty of Education and worked at Dilko Kids English course as an English teacher. 

 Her professional areas of interests are flipped learning model, material design, integrating technology into language teaching, differentiated learning and student autonomy. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, playing the guitar and learning new languages.
