Biography
Prof. Dr. Ekrem KURT, after graduating from University of Dicle Faculty of Law in 1989, completed his internship in the Bar Association and started working at the same Faculty as a research assistant of civil law. He earned his LL.M. degree from Istanbul University by his dissertation entitled “Legal Definition of Executor of Testament” and his doctoral degree from Marmara University by his dissertation entitled “The Rectification of Title Deed”. In 2004 he joined kadir has University as Asst. Prof. of Civil Law and worked there until 2012 as a member of the administrative board of the Faculty and lectured on Civil
Law, Property Law, Traffic Law, Urbanization Law, Environmental Protection Law, and Consumer Protection Law. Between 2012 and 2014, he taught civil law in International Antalya University. In 2014, he joined the newly founded MEF University and has been teaching civil law. He published books entitled “Rectification of The Title Deed” and “The Loan Contract”. He also published extensively in all fields of civil law, including the Law of Persons, Family Law, Inheritance Law, Property Law, and Contracts Law. He speaks English and German. He became
an associate professor in 2018 with his thesis titled "Loan Contract".
