ÇİĞDEM YAZICI

Çiğdem Yazıcı was born in 1978, in Istanbul; graduated from FMV Işık High School and entered to Marmara University Faculty of Law. Following the graduation from Law Faculty, she completed his attorney internship and admitted to Istanbul Bar Association in 2001. She initiated her graduate studies in 2001 and graduated from the master Program with her thesis on “Commercial Cases”. Within the same year, she conducted the doctorate education in the field of Private Law. She made researches at University of Trier and Justus Liebig University-Giessen in Germany. She completed her doctorate thesis on “Protecting Confidentiality in Mediation” which is published in 2013. Yazıcı, worked as a research assistant between 2003-2011 and as an assistant professor between 2011-2016 at Istanbul Kültür University Law Faculty, Civil Procedure and Execution and Bankruptcy Department. She speaks German and English. Her main research fields are Civil Procedure Law, Enforcement and Bankruptcy Law, Alternative Dispute Resolutions, and Mediation in Civil Disputes.
