What is MEF PDM?

Individual psychological counseling is a process that supports individuals' personal, social, academic and professional development. Throughout the process, it is aimed to identify the problems that individuals face in the specified areas, to produce solutions to these problems and to actively try to apply these solutions in daily life.

MEF Psychological Support Center (MEF PDM in Turkish) provides individual counseling sessions, group counseling sessions, workshops, seminars, and bulletins to the people within the university, both face-to-face and online, taking into account the needs of the university. All services provided at MEF PDM are carried out in line with ethical principles and the principle of confidentiality.

Where to go in case of emergency?

The MEF PDM unit provides both face-to-face and online services. Appointments are prioritized according to the order of application. If you think you are facing an emergency situation, you can send an e-mail to MEF PDM and our experts working in the unit. MEF PDM unit is open during the day (08:00-16:00). In case of a crisis that requires an immediate response, it is recommended that you apply to the nearest health institution, taking into account the urgency of the situation.
