CELT transforms its instructional design and technology integration work at MEF University into digital learning materials, aiming to contribute not only to academics within the institution but also to external audiences. The video series developed within this scope provide guidance for academics on how to effectively use artificial intelligence and contemporary teaching approaches.

🎥 Artificial Intelligence for Educators (Video Series)

This three-part video series offers practical guidance for academics, starting from the fundamental principles of artificial intelligence to its application in course content creation and assessment processes. Each episode includes scenarios and examples that instructors can directly integrate into their courses.

This series serves as a digital extension of CELT’s face-to-face workshops and continues to evolve according to emerging educational needs.

🎥 Flipped Learning and Technology Integration for Educators (Video Series) 

This comprehensive ten-episode video series examines the core principles of MEF University’s teaching model, Flipped Learning, and explores ways to integrate technology into this approach. The series covers a broad range of topics, from instructional design to digital content production, tool selection, and assessment strategies. 

Main topics covered in the series:

  • Flipped Learning philosophy and course design

  • Pre-class content preparation processes

  • Planning technology integration

  • Effective use of Web 2.0 tools

  • Educational technologies and digital pedagogical practices

These materials are digitized versions of CELT’s long-running face-to-face trainings and are also used in external educational initiatives such as YetGen. The video series is designed to support the professional development of both MEF academics and educators from other institutions.

Artificial Intelligence Literacy Course for Students (Asynchronous Course)

“Understanding Artificial Intelligence: A Guide for Youth” is a comprehensive online course developed by the academic and administrative staff of MEF University to enhance AI literacy.

Participants who complete the program on Coursera receive a certificate signed by the Rector of MEF University, Prof. Dr. Muhammed Şahin.

The course explains fundamental AI concepts, ethical principles, its impact on language skills, and ways AI can be integrated into learning processes in a clear and structured manner. The goal is to help students develop the skills needed to use AI consciously, safely, and productively.

This asynchronous digital course was designed to help MEF University academics effectively use the Blackboard Ultra learning management system. It explains step by step how to create courses, add content, configure assignments and exams, monitor student progress, and use communication tools within Blackboard. Academics can access the course at any time and learn the platform at their own pace.

Blackboard Ultra Course for Students

This course is an asynchronous guide open to all MEF University students, helping them use Blackboard Ultra effectively. Students learn how to access course materials, submit assignments, participate in quizzes, follow announcements, and use communication tools. The content supports students in using the platform confidently and efficiently.
