Program Educational Objectives

  • International private sector organizations as financial analysts, data scientists, or strategic planning specialists; they will analyze market data using econometric models and develop strategies that add value to corporate decision-making processes.

  • In the medium term after graduation, our graduates will work as economists or auditors/inspectors at central banks, treasury departments, or regulatory agencies, where they will assess the macroeconomic effects of public policies and design rational policy tools to increase social welfare.

  • Within the first three to five years after graduation, our graduates work as project coordinators or economic research experts at national and global civil society organizations or development agencies; they execute the budgetary and economic feasibility of projects focused on sustainable development and social benefit and report on the field outputs of these projects.

  • In the years following graduation, our graduates work as academics or independent researchers at reputable higher education institutions; they focus on original economic theories and empirical studies, critically review current discussions in the literature, and contribute to the field through scientific publications.
