The center's goal is to systematically follow awareness-based therapeutic approaches and developments in all areas of mental health support, with a primary focus on psychological counseling, from reliable sources. It aims to adapt these current research findings to our culture, organize certificate training programs for professionals, create healing groups, and inform the university and the entire community.
Conducting research on awareness-based approaches and practices in psychological counseling and mental health, and disseminating these findings to the public through national and international conferences, symposia, workshops, seminars, and similar activities.
Collaborating with national and international public and private institutions and foreign awareness centers (e.g., Oxford University, Massachusetts University Mindfulness Center, Bangor University) working in areas of interest to the center's goals. This includes organizing joint initiatives, preparing application and research projects, raising funds for projects, and implementing or supervising project implementation.
Developing and conducting educational programs that provide training for professionals and individuals in various sectors (e.g., mental health practitioners, social workers, private sector managers and employees, human resources specialists, teachers, healthcare workers) in areas such as stress reduction, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy based on awareness-based approaches. This may include professional courses, in-service training, certification programs, national and international seminars, symposia, conferences, and studies.
Monitoring current international developments in the field of awareness-based research and applications in daily life and providing evaluations and information to stakeholders and the public.
Establishing an archive suitable for conducting research on awareness-based approaches and practices, and preparing periodical/ongoing publications specific to the center.
Encouraging researchers conducting master's and doctoral studies at the Social Sciences Institute to engage in research on topics related to increasing individual's; well-being through awareness-based approaches, academic and work performance, job and life satisfaction, coping skills for problematic situations in life and work, etc.
Regulations of Conscious Mindfulness in Life Application and Research Center
