Objectives of the Center

The aim of the center is to systematically track international developments in the field of international security and defense from reliable sources, conduct interdisciplinary scientific research on how these developments may affect the security, defense, and foreign relations of our region and country, and to inform the University and the entire community by conducting strategic research that provides a basis for accurate predictions about the future.

Activities of the Center

• Conduct research in various areas, including international security, international law, international organizations, foreign policy, diplomacy, and more; disseminate research findings to the public through national and international conferences, symposia, workshops, seminars, and similar events.

• Collaborate with national and international public or private institutions and organizations working in the center's fields of interest. This includes joint projects, research, and the development and implementation of research and application projects.

• Provide training programs to equip professionals from various sectors with the knowledge and skills to analyze developments in international security, international law, international organizations, foreign policy, diplomacy, and defense industry.

• Monitor and report on the evolving norms in international law and the development processes of bilateral or multilateral international agreements.

• Establish a library and archive suitable for research in international security, international law, international organizations, foreign policy, diplomacy, political history, military strategies, defense industry, and create a national and international electronic communication network. Publish periodic or ongoing publications related to the center'swork.

• Encourage researchers working on master's and doctoral studies in the fields of international security, international law, international organizations, foreign policy, diplomacy, political history, military strategies, and defense industry within the Institutes of Science and Social Sciences.
